I’m a mother and now a grandmother which is so much fun.
My family and friends say I’m a bit of a hippy as I love walking, spinning and knitting barefoot. Also, I love being close to nature and the coastline is one of my favourite places to be.
I have supported women for over 20 years through their pregnancies and births. I have trained with the NCT as an Antenatal practitioner and have supported women as a doula and with complementary therapies, including placenta remedies. Since 2018, I have been fully accredited as a Calm Births practitioner and started running hypnobirthing courses. I am an experienced hypnobirthing practitioner and enjoy helping women have positive birth experiences in Berkshire.
I know how effective hypnobirthing techniques are for any birth, whether it’s in a maternity unit, at home, a waterbirth or induction. Hypnobirthing techniques can also be really calming during caesarean births too.
This is why I concentrate on my hypnobirthing courses to share my knowledge and passion to guide clients through their pregnancies and births, preparing them for a calmer and a more positive experience.
Hypnobirthing empowers you to enjoy a calm and positive birth.
"I was so calm and strong throughout, and I really think that hypnobirthing is the reason I managed to dilate so quickly at home and remain calm even when my birth didn't go how I had hoped."
"The hypnobirthing was something that I had never considered but once I started listening to the music in the bath I realised that it helped relax me. The music also helped me get a much better sleep during my pregnancy and I found myself listening to it at night before bed.
Linda helped me with all my breathing techniques and was able to tell me when to use the techniques during different stages of my labour."
"My second birth was the complete opposite from my first and I felt completely in control and mainly calm, which was my aim.
I'm so pleased that I achieved this with the help of your hypnobirthing course. My other half already wants another one ha ha!"
"Once I started the course, I found that the techniques were already helping with any pre-labour nerves and helped put us both at ease. We feel that the breathing techniques I learnt were invaluable to gain pain relief and intervention free labour."
"Although the labour was very quick, I did have moments of feeling very out of control. Without the techniques you taught us, I feel that I would have lost all control and would have been much more at risk of ending up having an assisted delivery."
"It was such a better experience than with my first which I didn't think was possible. I felt so much better prepared mentally to give birth the second time."
